Social Success

Sam’s Club + Kevin Hart x Super Bowl

As a part of the VMLY&R team, we concepted and created Sam’s Club’s very first Super Bowl activation. Leveraging our relationship with Kevin Hart, we created a 30-second commercial and accompanying social activation that made everyone a VIP. In addition to the planned social sweepstakes, we were able to participate in real-time game moments via Twitter that really amplified the reach and made Sam’s Club an integral piece of many trending conversations that day. The campaign garnered 4 billion earned impressions, 29.5K Sweepstake entries, and 42K social mentions and made for Sam’s Club’s most successful day on social media to date.

Kanye Madness

Myself and a small group created the viral sensation #KanyeMadnessBracket which blew up in March 2018. I personally concepted and created the design of the bracket based on Kanye West’s album art over the course of his discography. With over 109.4K engagements on the original tweet alone, the subsequent bracket polls garnered a total of 3,558,473 votes. The story was picked up by publications like ESPN, Complex Magazine, MSNBC, The Kansas City Star, and a number of others. It bracket was discussed on countless podcasts like Everyday Struggle and continued to be discussed across various mediums for weeks following. The bracket was a HUGE sensation, with printouts popping up in coffee shops and music stores all over America. Adapting brackets for various other topics became a trend that continues to be picked up and used today by top brands and pop culture.
